Left or Right? Steeplechase Finals

As with politics, give people a choice and half will go left and half go right. The same seems to be true of dog agility. This interesting sequence came from the first part of the Steeplechase Finals at USDAA Nationals 2006.

So I put together a video of some of the close teeter performances from the Grand Prix final. There is regular speed and slow motion at half speed. The only one that one called was the last one.

Alicia Nicholas and her Border Collie Pickle the Pirate continue their hot streak at USDAA Nationals. They take 2nd place in the the super competitive 22" jump height, and $600 in prize money.

Pickle - Grand Prix Semis 22"

My girlfriend Alicia Nicholas with her Border Collie Pickle the Pirate (one eye) puts in an awesome Grand Prix Semi Finals 22" run, one bobble, but good enough for currently 3rd place. That should be good enough to hold on for the afternoon to make the finals.

Pickle the Pirate wins Steeplechase Rd 1

Here is the winning run from the 22" height of round 1 of the Steeplechase at USDAA Nationals, November 2, 2006. The winner was Alicia Nicholas and her one eyed Border Collie Pickle the Pirate. In addition here is a link to an interview about the run.
