Just got a brand new shotgun microphone. A shotgun microphone is a directional mic. It is super sensitive in the direction that it is pointed. I shot a test clip with the new mic first, then a clip with the on-camera mic. the difference is incredible. Play the clip to hear the difference.

Better start watching what you say on course.

Wow - you are really in the desert there aren't you!! What a huge difference in the mics though - those that you tape will have to be careful what they say or mutter on course from now on... LOL!

Very impressive. I wish we had someone in the western Pennsylvania area who regularly and professionally taped agility runs.
