As I wrote last week a new feature has been added to Agility Vision, you can upload your own agility videos (make sure you are logged in first). It was in beta until today, and now it is officially online and ready to go. The first video to use the new service is a run from NADAC Championships 2006, the dog was Harley.
Hopefully you will find it easy to use. You can upload video straight from your camcorder, or upload a file already on your computer, hook up a webcam, or even use video straight from your cell phone. The goal or idea behind it is to be the YouTube of agility.
Possible ideas for agility related videos to upload.
- runs from a trial - show off your dog
- training sessions - get input on a training dilemma from all of us
- start your own video blog about agility - have fun, get creative
- whatever else you can think of
What else is changing? I'm shutting down most of the blogs, they got very little use anyways. I'd rather watch a video that read a blog. The picture galleries are gone. I was running out of space on my server. The cool thing about the videos is that they are stored at the video host which costs me nothing. Also the forum is shut down, though I may reinstate it.
The idea is to make video the medium of expression. Make video your blog or your forum.
Where to put a photo link?
Hiya Eric
I am a registered user of your website (very cool by the way) but I'm just not sure about where to go to do a new blog post or to post something that appears on the front page. Anyway here's a very cool pic that I thought people could have a look at.

focus is videos
This website can't be everything to everyone. As I tried to explain above, I've gotten back to the original idea of the website. That idea was videos, think agility television, or agility vision for short.
The blogs and forums saw very light use, except for Bud Houston who's blog is still active. The only thing that makes the front page is videos, and it has actually been like that for several months.
Feel free to set your camera or webcam up and make a video blog!ÂÂ
