Rest Like a Giant Tree
Submitted by atitcomb on Mon, 07/24/2006 - 5:16am.Praise and blame, gain and loss, pleasure and sorrow come and go like the wind. To be happy, rest like a giant tree in the midst of them all. Buddha
a disapointing weekend
Submitted by djewiss on Thu, 07/20/2006 - 2:15am.Hi There
Last weekend was to be Kilties first trial, I'd entered her and Ruby in the DAWG indoor show. We'd entered Starter 2 and 3.
But on Wednesday night we had a huge storm, the thunder and lightning scared the hell out of Kiltie. The next day I took her outside for some training and she couldn't sit, or go down. After a little investigation I discovered her lower back was causing some pain. The vet thought it was muscular, and gave us some rimadil and prescribed a few days rest - bugger!

Quitting Agiledogs Cold Turkey
Submitted by Bud Houston on Tue, 07/18/2006 - 6:19pm.Well, I finally unsubscribed from Agiledogs a list that I created in a fit of pique many years ago in protest of the heavy handed censorship and sysopery of Agility-L (remember that one?). As a note of irony, I’m leaving because of the heavy handed censorship on Agiledogs. ÂÂ

Submitted by Eric Larson on Sat, 07/01/2006 - 9:32pm.A month or so ago I emailed the people in charge of the USDAA Regional that is going on in Colorado this July 4th weekend. Asking them if I could come to their trial and offer video services. They responded "I already have secured a video person who is a club member that will be offering video taping. So I am going to have to decline your offer."

Wikipedia Agility - Not Fair and Balanced
Submitted by Renee Weider on Wed, 06/28/2006 - 7:32pm.I find it interesting that the Wikipedia Dog Agility section is controlled by one person. This is a person who edits out information other than what she wants them to see on this public, information website.

Everything is possible
Submitted by FlyGirls on Sat, 06/24/2006 - 8:28pm.When you have a big difficulty, the number-one handling technique is to remind yourself that everything is possible. Say it affirmatively and with faith. Continue that affirmation. Then, relax, get quiet physically and mentally, cool it, and believe that the necessary power is coming through to help you handle the situation. Do this, and the coping process will get even easier.
