Frequently Asked Questions

This page contains Frequently Asked Questions that I usually get in email messages. I'm compiling them here because I'm sure other people have the same questions.

Video on Demand Questions

1) What IS Video on Demand (VOD)?
VOD stands for Video on Demand. You can start a video, pause it, come back later and watch it. You can also move the video slider wherever you want and it will play almost immediately (this depends on your internet connection of course.) VOD is an alternative to DVDs, keeping prices reasonable for the consumer and providing a product for the cases where we aren't allowed to make DVDs. Another advantage is you can watch it once you order it. No waiting for a DVD to arrive or paying for shipping. VOD is not a livestream and it's for the rest of us who can't sit still for 8 hours or have the time to watch something the entire way through. It's like a DVR on AgilityVision, except it's on your computer. :)

1) Can we watch the Video on Demand and then watch it a second time in the 48 hour period?

Yes you can watch the video as many times in the 48 hour period as you want.

2) Can we watch one segment at a time and then go back to re-watch any thing we had a problem understanding or want to watch again?
Yes there is a indicator in the timeline that displays your current position in the video. You can drag it to any part of the timeline and the video will start playing at that point. Forwards or backwards.

3) Can we watch it, stop it, watch it etc?
Yes.

4) Will this work with Satellite internet like hughes.net?
No, Hughes.net and other satellite internet providers have daily download limits from 200-500 megabytes. For example Linda's Mecklenburg's seminar is 1,000 megabytes. So no I can't recommend or support satellite internet for Video on Demand or Live Streaming.

AKC Nationals 09 Questions

1) I ordered the DVD of the AKC nationals. when will that be sent out?
The DVD is finished I mailed it AKC on April 20th for approval. Once they approve it I will duplicating the DVD and mail them out. I'm hoping to mail them out before I leave for Tryouts on April 30th.
