camcorder help

I am no techy. I don't even like electronics. But I do want to see my agility runs.

So--for the tech-impaired, what is a good option for something easy to use, not too many bells and whistles? I just want a good picture and to play it back in my dvd-player without spending all day trying to figure it out.

I started to read up on it, and quickly got overwhelmed!
thanks much!!

digital camera

My new favorite way to video is using a digital camera (the still photo type camera).

A lot of them have a video option that tapes onto the memory card. It's super easy to video something and so easy to put on the computer. I video little agility exercises in the yard and within a few minutes I have them on my computer to analyze. Or, emailed out to friends. It's great!

I haven't transfered to disc, but I don't think that's hard.

I'm far from a technical person and had a hard time switching from film to a digital camera. Now that I have one, it's so easy and now I never use my very new, very nice video camera.

The digital cameras don't take long video - but you don't need that for agility runs.
